Senior Citizen's Group The Seniors of Peace have been gathering for a noon-time lunch and program on the first Wednesday of each month since 1991. Approximately twenty five members and guests enjoy a variety of speakers, musicians or group activities that encourage a positive mental, physical and spiritual interaction. The Seniors have summer picnics and a special Christmas luncheon to celebrate the seasons of the year. The group has taken outings to Ott's Floral Display, the Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia, Limerick Nuclear Plant, Mercer Museum, Augustus Lutheran Church in Trappe, PA. and many other interesting sites in the immediate area. It is always important for the group to consider the needs of seniors who may have physical limitations when they travel to off site locations. The contact and relationships fostered by this gathering serves to support the overall fellowship of Peace Lutheran Church.
