Peace Concert Series

The Peace Concert Committee organizes several high caliber concerts each year for the Pennridge community.
All concerts are held at Peace-Tohickon Lutheran Church.

March 21, 2010 at 4 PM

     On Sunday afternoon March  21st at 4:00, Peace Lutheran Church , Perkasie PA will host the Singing Boys of Pennsylvania choir. The ensemble is made up of 26 young artists who have prepared at least two years with the organization’s training choir. The choir was founded in 1970 and has performed in 5 countries, as well as with major professional orchestras  and has appeared on ABC and the BBC networks. 

     Their music feature a mixture of sacred and secular, opera and music theater and a rich assortment of folk songs with choreography. Their  fast- moving format has delighted audiences around the world, and they have received much critical praise for their energy, and proficiency. This will be a delightful concert; full of life, energy, and wonderful music.

     The group is led by K. Bernard Schade, Ed.D. He is a graduate of University of Texas El Paso , Union Theological Seminary, and Penn State .  He is an excellent organist, conductor, teacher, and vocal coach. He is a Professor of Music at East Stroudsburg University , in PA
