Communion Instruction

Three classes are held each year at the conclusion of the Lenten season. See the spring newsletters or "homepage" for specific dates and times.

A series of three classes are presented to Fifth graders prior to receiving Holy Communion. The Pastor and Lola Stever, a member of our congregation teach the meaning and history of communion and how it relates to the Passover experience. In addition, the symbolism used in the Lutheran church is explained to students.
